The trails

A network of trails circles the reservoir through genuine secondary rainforest — the full loop takes 3–4 hours, though shorter sections let you sample it without committing to the whole circuit.

The TreeTop Walk

A 250-metre suspension bridge connecting two of the reservoir's highest points, giving a canopy-level view of the forest below. It's the trail's signature stretch and the main reason most visitors come.

Wildlife to expect

Long-tailed macaques are common and generally unbothered by hikers — keep food out of sight. Monitor lizards and a wide range of birdlife are also regularly spotted along the water's edge.
